Mariposa Soccer Club
Welcome to the Club! In 2023, we piloted a set of travel club teams for a few age groups. We're excited to take this step toward competitive play for Mariposa and are looking forward to seeing more soccer in the community year round. The Mariposa Soccer Travel and/or Competitive Program ("Club") is aimed at further developing skilled players. All of the players in this program will train 2 days per week and play competitive games on weekends (during the season March 2-May 18, 2024).

Meet some of our Club Coaches
All of our club coaches have invested in their coach education through US Soccer training courses. In November of 2023, Mariposa Soccer hosted an in person US Soccer Coach licensing course for 9v9 and 11v11. Mariposa Soccer is hosting a level "D" coaching license course May-July 2024.
Coach Andrew Glikin "Glikin" is our Director of Coaching & Technical Lead. Glikin takes the lead for our club on recruiting new coaches, observing existing coaches, helping coaches with player development strategies. He oversees the club and recreational curriculum and is also responsible for identifying and hosting opportunities for coaches to get more education at the appropriate level and works with our registrar to ensure all coaches have met the proper coaching requirements.
