Travel Teams

In 2023, we are piloting a set of travel teams for U10 and U13 boy and girl teams, and a U16/17 boys team. Our travel teams would enable players to play other sports and would be intact throughout the year for tournament opportunities and other nearby friendlies. We're excited to take this step toward competitive play for Mariposa and are looking forward to seeing more soccer in the community year round. 

COMMITMENT 

• • Games: a few tournaments or friendlies/games this winter/spring into summer; likely once a month or less, so players can do other sports/activities, too. 

  • Practice (Starting Feb 15*): 1-2x/week depending on the team's/player's availability & interest. We'll be starting at Woodland for the first few weeks and then moving practices to MCHS. Each practice will end with a 30+ min scrimmage. *Varsity boys - will start a little later due to the district restrictions. 

COST $150/player. 

• • Includes: two high quality (Adidas, Nike, or Puma) uniform kits with name printed on back. 

  • Remaining funds for: field & player insurance, referees, tournament entry fees, and equipment.
